Mission Statement
To assist home schooled children and their
families by providing quality classes that enrich their education in a
safe and loving atmosphere.

Philosophy
Shepherd's Heart Enrichment Tutorial has been an endeavor obviously
blessed by the Lord. We recognize the commitment and demands that are
required in homeschooling children. There are occasions when home school
parents need time to regroup, rest, reassess, or simply take care of
business with less distraction. This tutorial can be an opportunity for
participating parents to utilize this much needed time, as well as allow
children to participate in a classroom setting to further enhance their
home schooling experience.
The continued success of this program is attributed in part to the
selfless involvement of our participating families. The desire to become
part of Shepherd's Heart speaks to a family's commitment to
occasionally serve as a support to our teaching
staff or other areas of service. The continued success of Shepherd’s
Heart is made possible through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our
staff and involved parents like you.
We believe the Bible to be the inerrant and
infallible Word of God. We believe that there is one God,
eternally existent in One Person; God, the Father, Jesus, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit.

History
Shepherd's Heart Enrichment Tutorial is the inspiration of founder,
Laurie Collier Montgomery. When Laurie saw the benefits of the
Rutherford County Tutorial for high school students, she recognized the
need for a similar enrichment program for home school children in grades
K thru 8 in Murfreesboro. Her selfless dedication and commitment
to home school excellence gave birth to this program. Since it's
inception in 1994, Shepherd's Heart is now the oldest home school
enrichment program in Rutherford County.
